My feature documentary project “MAHO” has just been awarded two of the most competitive grants in France: the Feature-Length Scriptwriting Grant from the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée) and the “Brouillon d’un rêve” Grant from La Scam. It’s a rare and precious double recognition, which deeply moves me. My heartfelt thanks to all the members of the selection committees. I will continue writing with even more passion and precision — to bring this project to the level it truly deserves. 🎥 Onward to cinema.
Mon projet de long métrage documentaire « MAHO » vient de recevoir deux des aides les plus compétitives en France : l’Aide à l’écriture de long métrage du CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée) et la bourse « Brouillon d’un rêve » de la Scam. Une double reconnaissance rare et précieuse, qui me touche profondément. Un immense merci à toutes les personnes des commissions de sélection pour leur confiance. Je poursuis l’écriture avec encore plus de passion et de précision — pour porter ce projet au niveau qu’il mérite vraiment.

I’m very happy to announce that my next documentary film, SADOK, THE MYSTERIOUS VOICE, is now entering production for ARTE. A story of family memory, music, and poetry, carried by the virtuosity and profound sensitivity of my friend Jasser Haj Youssef, the great-grandson of Sadok.

RIYADH: The makers of a recently produced, highly acclaimed documentary on Saudi wildlife were honored at a special screening of the film “Horizon” at the residence of the EU ambassador Christophe Farnaud in Riyadh.
The new documentary, produced by the Konoz Initiative, is part of a collaboration between the Saudi Ministry of Media’s Center for Government Communication and the National Center for Wildlife. It explores the ecological treasures and unique habitats of the Kingdom.
Princess Lamia bint Majed Saud Al-Saud, secretary-general of Alwaleed Philanthropies , was a guest of honor. Princess Lamia, through her work with Alwaleed Philanthropies, has recently announced an initiative called Atlai, an innovative artificial intelligence platform to support global efforts to combat deforestation.
