Child Protection Unit

The Hauts-de-France region is one of the French regions most affected by femicides and sexual violence against minors. Three years ago, an unprecedented initiative led by the Beauvais gendarmerie was launched to challenge these grim statistics. Thus, the GAP was born. Comprising four dedicated officers, this unit focuses exclusively on cases of sexual violence and child abuse.
